The Road Trip, the ultimate photographic adventure. We are probably all familiar with certain trips, resulting in classic phonebooks such as Robert Frank’s ‘The Americans’. But did you know that you can trace the history of this genre almost back to the dawn of photography. And it’s not just an American idea. Jack Kerouac’s ‘On the Road not only influenced Frank, but also Japanese photography.
