It was the end of 2004 on the southwest coast of India in a small fishing village when i began my journey into photography.
My teacher Sebran Dargent kept his instructions simple “photograph what you see”.
These words gave me the freedom I needed to express myself and inspired the compassion with which I photograph.
The beauty of analogue has remained in my work from the beginning and I cannot imagine my photography without the use of film and the darkroom with all its processes.
