Unfinished: incomplete or uncompleted; an image that needs an addition to make it work or complete the narrative; an abandoned object left behind like a half eaten meal, left cigarette or half a cup of coffee; the unfinished experience: an assemblage that needs something more, the process that has something lacking, historical, social or technological aspects or in the mind of the viewer….
Submitted images should examine the theme carefully. The interpretation could be literal, it could have humour, it could have poetic or artistic elements, it could have an unfinished quality that has occurred during the creative process and of course it may have an obscurity that is revealed in the subtext.
Submitted images will be given appreciable latitude with the theme. A couple of sentences for subtext will help clarify the photographer’s thoughts and context and these will be included in the caption with the title. And of course above all, the images need to be engaging and arresting.

Membership is £30.00 for the year and includes entry to all meetings, events and activities
Each contributor will be required to submit 3 possible images from which one will be selected.
The fee will be between £25 – £30 (per group of 3 images submitted for one image to be exhibited) depending on contributor numbers. If you wish to have 2 images shown, the fee is £50 to be selected from a maximum of 6 images. The fees are non-refundable.
Submissions are required to be digital and uploaded to a dropbox directory (tba) in a 1920 x 1080 px high definition format. File name protocol is Surname plus number (eg Cooper1, Cooper2 etc) together with a companion text or word document with your name, Filename, Titles, Subtext, Price (framed/Print), edition number and planned frame size (max 50×40 cm)
Submissions close May 20th, 2018.
Selected images will be used for promotional material. Artist copyright is retained but wave fees for use by PhotoBath in promotional material.
Work submitted but not exhibited may be selected for projection in a slideshow at the exhibition.
Images with Title, subtext, the text will be used for labels and a hand out sheet at the exhibition venue.
Exhibitors will be expected to help support the promotion effort including leafletting or other ways to promote your work and exhibition.
Exhibitors will be be required to offer some time for exhibition invigilation over the fortnight period.
PhotoBath group exhibitions have grown year on year and have been one of the highlights of the group calendar. Members have come together for the private view, invited friends and have sold work. It’s a great collaborative effort that really showcases our mutual development.
